Online Medication Management for Women
We practice a person-centered approach and value informed decision making when it comes to prescribing medications.
Online Medication Management
Medication management sessions begin with full biopsychosocial intake which includes current symptoms and a full understanding of ongoing stressors. Further information regarding medical history, past treatments (what worked, what didn’t), allergies, and family history is gathered. At times, standardized testing may be recommended.
When information gathering is complete, we will discuss treatment options which may include medications. Decision making around medications include the impact of current stressors on your life and relationships, potential benefits of meditations, risks, side effects and alternatives. Each individual is unique and our goal is to discuss risks, benefits, side effects and alternatives and help you make the best choice for you.
When medications are started, they are initiated at the minimum effective dose. Medications are monitored closely and any decision to increase or decrease involves a thorough discussion. You are always at the center of your treatment.

Medication can complement therapy by alleviating symptoms that may be barriers to effective therapy. For instance, medication can reduce symptoms of anxiety or depression, allowing individuals to engage more fully in therapeutic activities and make greater progress. By stabilizing mood or reducing distressing symptoms, medication can enhance the overall effectiveness of therapy.
