Joellen Gordon is a certified Physician Assistant licensed in Florida. She received her undergraduate degree and physician assistant education the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She subsequently completed a Master's degree in Behavioral Science at Capella University. She has worked as a PA for 40 years in various areas of medicine. Joelle also pursued her passion and transitioned to practicing psychiatry exclusively in 2014. Her psychiatric experience includes providing medication management for adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, and PTSD in outpatient settings, telehealth platforms, nursing facilities, ALFs, and Emergency settings. She also has an interest and experience in holistic psychiatry, menopause, and geriatric psychiatry, including dementia associated psychiatric symptoms and behavioral disturbances. She also has served as a preceptor and adjunct instructor for PA students at South University in Tampa FL. Joellen believes that all individuals deserve to receive high-quality, individualized psychiatric care.
